Dedicated to providing
the right care solution

With years of professional experience, we’ll help you see and feel your best.

Lens and frame technology is advancing at lightning speed. We read trade journals daily and meet with industry representatives to keep up with the new products entering the market.

Prescription Eyewear

Our eyewear selection consists of some of the most innovative products available.  Our vendors are typically small European or Asian companies that have frame designers exclusive to the eyewear industry. The result is a product that is highly respected and sought after in the industry consisting of continually evolving designs made of the best materials.

Sunglasses

Both prescription and non-prescription sunglasses are meant to provide two things: comfort and protection. We can help you select sunglasses that look great while giving you clarity and safety.

Reading Glasses

Reading glasses are widely available. At Dobbs, we carry a wide assortment of stylish readers available in a range of prescription strengths that not only look great but are made from high quality materials.

Call to request an appointment and we’ll get you in the books.

Insurance FAQs

Insurance talk isn’t fun, but we do our best to work with our clients and find the right solution for each individual.

  • Dobbs Optical is not a participating provider for any vision insurance plans. Some plans will accept out-of-network claims, this will vary depending on your individual policy. Contact your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits. We can assist you with filing the out-of-network claim.

  • Eyewear is a critically functional tool many of us depend on to perform daily activities of life. The value we place on our eyewear depends on the role they play in our lives. Vision insurance plans have the goal of providing the minimum necessary to achieve clarity of vision. No account is taken for style/fashion, durability or need for multiple pairs to perform different tasks. Consequently, the costs often exceed the basics that insurance plans would cover. Flex Plan and Health Savings Accounts are great options for out-of-pocket costs.
