Vision insurance plans have the goal of providing the minimum necessary to achieve clarity of vision. No account is taken for style/fashion, durability or need for multiple pairs to perform different tasks. Consequently, the costs often exceed the basics that insurance plans would cover. Flex Plan and Health Savings Accounts are great options for out-of-pocket costs.
